Privacy

What we know about you.

Almost nothing.

Who we are

East London 893 Collective ("893", "we") runs 893.world and is responsible for any personal data this website handles.

What we collect

Nothing that you hand to us. This website has no forms, no accounts, no newsletter, no analytics and no advertising or tracking scripts. It sets no cookies.

Like every website, the servers that deliver it see technical details of each request: your IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time. That is described under "Who else is involved" below.

Who else is involved

Vercel Inc. hosts this website. To deliver pages and protect the service from abuse, Vercel processes the request details above and keeps them in logs for a limited period. Vercel may process this data outside the UK, under the safeguards set out in its own privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Google Fonts. Some pages load typefaces from Google, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when those pages open. The main page does not: its fonts are served from this website.

Instagram. Links to @893collective take you to Instagram, run by Meta. Once you follow one, Meta's privacy policy applies, not this one.

Why, and on what basis

Request details are processed only to deliver the website and keep it secure. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, safe website. We do not sell data, build profiles or use it for marketing.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or erase personal data about you, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. Because we do not collect data ourselves, most requests about server logs are best made to Vercel directly, but we will help.

If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
